Remedy Systems is a complete point of care solution which allows medical providers to improve the safety and efficiency of their practice without disrupting the workflow. It's also a next generation e-prescribing application that allows prescribers to become eligible for MIPPA e-prescribing incentives. New prescriptions and renewals are sent electronically by electronic data interchange to the patient’s pharmacy of choice – even mail order pharmacies. Remedy checks for patient insurance eligibility, formulary compliance and medication lists obtained through our partner, SureScripts, who is connected to the pharmacy benefit managers (PBM's) and health plans on their backend.
RemedySystems also offers clinical decision support tools to check prescriptions for drug-drug and drug-allergy interactions and appropriate dosing. Given it's flexible and open architecture, Remedy also offers the ability to interface with a physician's choice of practice management or EMR system.
You can use any computer with an internet connection and be e-prescribing in minutes. Remedy Systems has both a web-based version and an iPhone/iPod touch version that are automatically synched. This lets providers use both a computer and an iPhone to complete the same tasks. Information entered into the iPhone is updated within two seconds onto the website and vice-versa.
All eligible prescribers who use Remedy can access the Medicare e-prescribing incentives. Remedy can track GCodes and generate PDF reports that show compliance with meaningful use - so providers can get an annual bonus from CMS. Remedy can also help providers access government incentives some providers don't even know exist.
Interoperability with existing practice systems is a pretty big deal - which is why we made sure to make our system was interoperable. Remedy automates the exchange of information by providing a stand-alone application that can link into practice management and electronic medical record applications.

All providers are able to manage the flow of alerts that are sent to them from Remedy Systems. Even though alerts are designed to catch drug-to-drug interactions, drug allergies, and other gaps in care - we understand why a provider might want to turn off alerts at the point-of-care. Our user web-based interface makes it simple for a doctor to customize their alerts as they see fit.
